// About

API knowledge should not fragment across tools.

REST Test exists to keep the API contract, its explanation, live behavior and integration code connected inside a practical workspace.

The contract should stay inspectable

Methods, paths, schemas, examples and failure responses should remain useful beyond the raw definition file.

Tools should share context

Documentation, requests and code generation are more useful when they read the same normalized operation.

Generated output should be reviewable

Focused source code is easier to understand and adapt than an opaque integration step.

// What it is

A focused development workspace.

REST Test imports supported OpenAPI and Swagger definitions, normalizes their operations and connects that model to a designer, documentation view, request builder and client generators.

A workspace may belong to one developer or be shared with a team. Roles protect administrative and destructive actions without forcing every project into a large organization model.

The product is under active development. It does not claim public documentation hosting, enterprise governance or automation that is not implemented.
